My approach to both personal and professional work is rooted in a passion for creating images that celebrate light, the human spirit, and world cultures. The essence of these images is the way they capture moments of expression and a sense of place. To be human is to embrace these everyday moments that illuminate our common spirit.
Recent projects include a feature shoot for Budget Travel Magazine in Ecuador, and two feature articles in Outside Magazine. Outside's "Last Voyage of the Culin" focused on pirates, and their involvment in the murder of a US sailor off the Mexican coast. The other, "Positive Spin", centered around a wooden bike race in Rwanda. Other clients include the Sesame Workshop, SamataMason Inc., Sasges Inc., and the National Geographic Society.
